Wow, this beauty lights up our acoustic room! Few Acoustic Guitars have the visual impact of the Gibson Hummingbird. This is easily one of the most recognizable Gibson designs thanks to it's gorgeous Cherry Sunburst and beautifully etched Pickguard.
The Gibson Hummingbird Standard pairs a Sitka Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides for a tried and true, focused sound, perfectly suited to be the accompanying instrument for any singer. Scalloped Braces and a Nitrocellulose Finish allow this guitar to move some serious sound when pushed but it can whisper sweetly with charm and nuance. A Mahogany neck is topped with a Rosewood Fingerboard, Split Parallelogram Inlays, and bound on either side for a refined playin experience and look!
Gibson is back in 2019 with new leadership and the quality if already heading in the right direction! The first handful of guitars we have seen have had many of the issues addressed. Better cut nuts, even smoother frets, improved finish work, the improvements are quite obvious!
