Here we have a sweet Custom Telecaster from the Fender Custom Shop! This beautiful guitar is finished in Chocolate Three Tone Sunburst and bound on the top and back for some added contrast. We typically see Custom Tele's with Rosewood Fingerboards, this one has a Maple Neck and board combo for a more traditional Tele vibe.
The body of this guitar is made from Alder and sorted for light weight. It's a nice looking body with a little bit of subtle grain to help the finish pop. The binding adds definition and raises the elegance a notch or two.
A 60's Style Oval C Neck Profile is carved from a Quarter Sawn piece of Maple then topped with a Quarter Sawn Maple Fingerboard. It also features a compound radius that starts out at 7.25" and flattens out to a 9.5". It's a subtle shift but one you'll appreciate on your 1st big bend up high. Jescar 47095 Fretwire was chosen which helps this guitar play like a dream.
A Set of Handwound 64 Tele pickups were chosen and they sound fantastic. From biting in the bridge, to fat and round in the neck and the best of both worlds in the middle. A master volume, master tone, and 3 way toggle grant you access to all the quintessential tones.
