The neck is made from Select Hardwood (most likely Sapele, Cedar, or Mahogany) and then topped with a fingerboard made of Certified Richlite. The neck is shaped to the Performing Artist Neck Profile and sports the High-Performance Taper. This is a very easy neck to play thanks to the perfect combination of dimensions.
