The Taylor 214ce-K DLX Acoustic-Electric Guitar offers incredible features, exotic tonewoods, and value far-out reaching its price point! Constructed with layered koa back and sides, a solid Sitka spruce top, and African ebony fingerboard and bridge, this guitar sounds as good as it looks!
Hawaiian Koa is not only beautiful to look at but is exceptionally tone-full as well. It sounds similar to mahogany but with a more brilliant, and open-sounding top-end. Koa does not carry a lot of bass which adds to its articulate nature.
The solid Sitka spruce top projects very well and will only sound better with every strum. This is the most often used species of spruce on stringed instruments for many great reasons but none of them is better than phenomenal tone.
The neck is made from Neo-Tropical Mahogany and carries Taylor's Standard Neck Carve. The fingerboard is made from West African Ebony and carries a 15" fingerboard radius. Small Diamond Fingerboard Inlays adorn the fingerboard and offer a subtle and elegant vibe.
The Taylor Expression System 2 allows for plug and play no matter the situation. And Taylor seals the deal with a nice Brown Deluxe Hardshell Case.
