The Lutz Spruce Top seems to have the perfect strength to weight ratio. This wood is elastic but rigid making it an ideal choice for the player looking for a dynamically expressive acoustic guitar. Teamed with Indian rosewood you'll hear densely packed harmonics, a warm articulate low end mixed with a crisp and clear top end. The result is a big, rich, warm-sounding guitar that radiates tone. The body is bound with Figured Hard Rock Maple for a sublime look, loaded with the contrast of Dark and Light colored woods.
We have a classic feeling Taylor neck in terms of the profile, but it features a slightly shorter scale at 24.8" for less snap on the strings and added warmth and an easier feel on the fretting hand. The neck is made from Tropical Mahogany and then topped with an Ebony Fingerboard. The fingerboard features Taylor's 'Windansea' Inlay pattern made from abalone and mother of pearl and is bound with Figured Hard Rock Maple.
Other worthy mentionable include Gotoh 510 Tuners in Gold, the Expression 2.0 Electronics System, Treble-Side Soundport Cutaway (projects tone to the player), and a Rosewood Pickguard.
