This Used 2011 G&L USA Limited Edition ASAT Deluxe II Korina in Aged Natural is in on consignment and it is in great shape. The guitar was part of a very large collection and has seen very little playtime. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with this limited edition guitar is the original hardshell case. Only 100 of these models were made and this one is as clean as they come!
The Korina Collection ASAT Deluxe II was a natural once the ASAT Junior II came about. With the completed Junior II prototype being played by just about everyone in the factory, Duane Boulanger, R&D tech, custom build craftsman and Custom Creations crewmember, was the first to state the obvious to the rest of us: “You realize this is a natural for two humbuckers, don’t you?” A few cups of coffee later, a Korina body spread was being carved up in the woodshop. After all, there’s no question that dual-humbuckers and Korina go together like chocolate and peanut butter. How would it fare in a 25 ½” scale, bolt-on guitar? Turns out, spectacularly. With a feel that any G&L fan would be delighted with, the Korina-bodied ASAT Deluxe brings a tighter focus to a classic tone.
