This Used 1961 Fender Stratocaster in 3-Tone Sunburst 66171 is here on consignment. It has been refretted at some point. It plays very well and sounds fantastic. The neck is straight, the frets have plenty of meat on them and are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case, tremolo arm, and bridge cover.
It's not every day we see something like this. This 1961 Stratocaster is in phenomenal shape. To use some current aging nomenclature, it's an Ultra Light Aged or maybe a Journeyman Relic... it's seriously impressive! Whoever owned this for the majority of its life took great care of it. It's got a Rosewood Slab Fingerboard with plenty of wood left after the refret. Make sure to look at all the pics so you can see things like the body stamp, neck date, and pot codes.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, gets cleaned, then some fresh strings, and a full set-up before being put up for sale. We often even put guitars with worn frets through our Plek machine if need be! Rest assured, any Used Guitar from The Music Gallery has certainly passed its physical!
