This Used 2021 Fender Custom Shop 65 Stratocaster Heavy Relic in Aged Black is here on trade. It is in great shape. The dressing was done intentionally at the Factory. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The neck is made for Rift Sawn and Roasted Maple. This truly is the ideal combo for a guitar that will experience the seasons in all of their guitar-destroying glory. We are located about 30 minutes south of Wisconsin and a Roasted and Rift Sawn neck is all but a guarantee you'll be adjusting the neck less often throughout the year. The neck is carved to a 60s Oval C that measures .79" in depth at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th. This is basically the quintessential feeling 60s Strat neck. The fingerboard is made from AAA Rosewood, carries a 9.5" fingerboard radius, 47095 frets, and is bound with 1 ply of Parchment Binding.
The body is made from Alder and was sorted for weight during the build process. This guitar weighs in at 7 lbs 9 oz. The body is finished in Aged Black and then heavily distressed. An Aged Mint Pickguard compliments the look perfectly.
The pickups are a set of Handwound Chicago Special Stratocaster Single Coils, concocted by Chicago Music Exchange. They are a great sounding set, Straty in all the right ways. A master volume, master tone, and blender control along with a 5-way switch round out the electronics specs.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, gets cleaned, then some fresh strings, and a full set-up before being put up for sale. We often even put guitars with worn frets through our Plek machine if need be! Rest assured, any Used Guitar from The Music Gallery has certainly passed its physical!
