This 2002 Taylor W14-CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar is here on consignment. Made in the USA, this Grand Auditorium body features all solid wood construction. It has been played considerably over the last 18 years and shows some obvious play wear. Take a close look at the pics and you'll see most of it. Aside from the wear on the top on the treble side of the soundhole and the edge where the cutaway is, the guitar has dings, dents, impressions, all the stuff you'd expect to see on a guitar that was played pretty hard for a while. The neck is still straight, the frets do have some flat spots, but the truss rod is functioning fine. It still has some life in it though and sounds great thanks to how much play-time it has seen! Included with this guitar is the original hardshell case.

The combo of a Sitka Spruce top with Walnut back and sides means some serious volume! Walnut is a loud, articulate, and bright sounding tonewood when used as the back and sides. The Sitka Spruce top is a perfect pairing with Walnut as I find Adirondack to be too bright when paired with Walnut. This one has an attractive 3 piece back, a la a Martin D-35.

This guitar comes with a Fishman Stereo Blender Electronic System on it. This system was rather cutting-edge when it came out and it still sounds good by today's standards! This handy system makes the guitar work great for performances but its tone will make it a stand-out in the studio.

Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring, and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
