In on trade and in great shape, this Martin 000-28 VTS is an amazing acoustic guitar. It is clean, cosmetically and includes it's original hardshell case. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. This guitar was built in 2017.
One way to make a guitar sound like it's been lovingly broken in is to cook or heat treat the wood. Lot's of manufacturers are roasting woods these days in order to increase their stability. When done to a Spruce Top it gives the guitar the sound of a vintage instrument, something that many people pay exponentially for in the vintage market.
Other than the heat treatment, this is a tried and true 000-28 with Indian Rosewood back and sides, a select hardwood neck topped with an ebony fingerboard. We also have the 24.9" Scale and 1.75" Nut Width for a slightly slinky feel on the strings and a great feel for the finger picker. The Modified Low Oval Neck Profile has the famed Martin Performing Artist Taper which keeps the neck on the slimmer side as you work your way up. This is a guitar you can play for hours due to it's comfortability.
