Here we have a stunning PRS Custom 24 in Black Gold Burst. Featuring a figured maple top over a mahogany body with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard. This is a Mint used guitar, meaning it was sold then came back passed our return window on trade towards a different guitar. It was built in 2018 and looks as fresh as our new inventory.
PRS Craftsmanship is 2nd to none. We have been dealing with PRS for decades now and are beyond thrilled with their current product lineup. Constantly refining and improving, the PRS dedication to quality is blatantly obvious on every guitar.
This one has a Pattern Thin neck profile on it with 1 and 11/16" nut width, 24 frets, a 10" fingerboard radius, and Birdsy Inlaid into a Rosewood Fingerboard. It's a super fast playing neck, great for the lead player.
A set of 85/15 Humbuckers give this guitar tones to die for. These pickups can be warm and rich or can cut and sear through the mix in a high gain scenario. Easy controls like a master volume, master tone and 5 way blade switch give you quick access to all the sound you need.
The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar. This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to offer remarkable clarity and extended high and low end.
The Custom 24 is the original PRS. Since its introduction, it has offered a unique tonal option for serious players and defined PRS tone and playability.
