This 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Desert Burst is in great shape. It's clean cosmetically and fully functioning. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly, Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard has long been the object of desire for just about everyone. If you didn't own one, you wanted one and if you own one, you want another! Every decade has had a guitar hero slinging a Les Paul and for me it was Slash. When I pick up a guitar like this all the Appetite for Destruction riffs come rushing back! This is a great playing Lester with a quick feel.
This 2008 built Les Paul marked a rethought LP. Lighter weight thanks to a chambered body, a longer neck tenon for added stability/resonance/response. We also have a set of Grover Locking Tuners on it for easier string changes. The Tune-o-matic Bridge and Tailpiece both lock into place for MORE added stability. The neck profile has been rethought as well and features an asymmetrical feel that perfectly contours to the left hand. We have more of a D feel on the bass side with a slimmer C on the treble side.
Pickups in this guitar are a Burstbucker Pro 1 in the neck position with a Burstbucker Pro 2 in the Bridge for some added heat! 2 volume controls, 2 tone tone controls, and a 3 way toggle give you typical LP functionality.
