Steep in 1950s aesthetics, this Limited Edtion Blues Junior is not only sporting Tweed, but it's Tweed is lacquered for that next-level look. The Tweed looks a bit darker, a bit moodier, and a bit shinier than a non-lacquered version. If you want the coolest Blues Junior money can buy, this is it!
A 12" Jensen C-12N Ceramic Speaker comes factory installed. This speaker plays nicely whether churning out sparkling clean sounds or with the volume dimed and the master volume down to drive the amp to Brown Town at room-appropriate levels. Also a perfect recording amp, the Blues Junior shines in all environments.
The onboard controls are easy to navigate. We have a Master Volume, Volume, Treble, Middle, Bass, Reverb, and the Fat Switch which adds some thick bottom end to the signal.
An EL-84 Power Section keeps the tones bright and cutting. These tubes are experts at getting guitars to cut thru a mix. A trio of 12AX7 Preamp Tubes allows this amp to generate some very nice overdriven sounds. This highly portable amp continues to amaze us, even after all these years!
