The Fender CD60S LH is a Left-Handed Student Acoustic Guitar that is perfect for the beginner or anyone looking for an inexpensive guitar they can take with them to summer camp, vacation, wherever, without having to worry about damaging a keepsake.
The CD-60 offers considerable bang for the buck in playability and tone. The top is made from solid Sitka spruce which helps gives this guitar a powerful sound with a rich bottom end, a tight and focused mid-range, with a bright op end that helps cut thru the mix. The back, sides, and neck are made from Mahogany, perhaps the greatest tonewood of all time, used for necks, backs, top, just about everything but fingerboards! The braces are made from scalloped spruce which allows for added volume and projection.
An Easy to Play Neck shape is carved from Mahogany, then topped with a Rosewood Fingerboard. A 12” radius makes it play great up and down the neck, while Vintage frets are super low for an easy feel. The nut width measures in at 1.69” or 43 mm, while the scale length measures in at 25.3” or 643 mm. Other notable features include a Rosewood bridge, Chrome Hardware, and a Black Pickguard.
