Dale Wilson, relic'er extraordinaire! Dale's relics are SICK and this is one of the most incredible guitars we have ever seen! The aging is so legit looking it would be hard to tell this one from one in the Blackguard Book: the Bible for us Early Tele Enthusiasts.
The neck is carved from a piece of Rift Sawn Maple and carved to a full feeling 52' U Neck profile. It measures .990 at the first fret and the same at the 12th fret. A super full feeling neck that early Tele enthusiasts will appreciate. Sanko 6105 Frets are installed in a fingerboard sporting a 9.5" radius. 1.650" nut Width and 25.5" Scale combine for classic Fender Feel and Spank.
The body is made from 2 pieces of Ash that were sorted for weight to help keep it light. This one weighs in at 6 lbs 15 oz Ash is the tonewood of choice for the early 50's Telecaster's. Combine with Brass Saddles and a maple neck and you have all the right ingredients!
The bridge pickup is a Handwound Nocaster single coil with the humbucker in the neck position is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity. The wealth of tones you can generate with this guitar is seriously impressive. Classic Tele controls with a master volume, master tone and 3 way switch are all present.
