A True Masterpiece from one of Fender's Master Builder's! A early 50's era Telecaster in all regards, minus the Humbucker of course! An Ash Body, teamed with a super fat maple neck, and some brass saddles combine for an unmistakably authentic Fender sound! Aged by Dale Wilson, this guitar looks as authentically vintage as it sounds.
The neck is made from Rift Sawn Maple which adds stability. It's carved to a 52 Style U Shape which is nice and fat. There is no taper on this neck, it's just beefy from butt to nut. A 9.5" fingerboard radius and 6105 frets make it play like a modern guitar. The fingerboard itself is heavily distressed as well for a well worn in a loved vibe.
A Seymour Duncan 59 Humbucker in the neck offers fantastic versatility and adds an element of beef to the tonal palette not normally found on a Telecaster. This pickup is married with a Hand Wound Broadcaster Bridge Pickup that perfectly nails the Tele tone's of the 1950's perfectly. Traditional Tele Controls provide access to all the tones in all their glory.
The aging job that Dale Wilson put on this instrument is so authentic, it's tough to tell it apart from a Vintage guitar. The patina on the finish, the right shade of aging toner for the neck, the accurately placed body wear... man, oh man, it just doesn't get any better than this!
