Currently set up as a Lefty-Strung-Right (think Hendrix), this Fender Custom Shop 52 Telecaster Journeyman Relic has a light amount of aging on the body but a nicely stripped neck for a smooth, never tacky feel. Plus, it throws your eye for a loop!
This guitar is in on trade and it is in perfect shape. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The 52 Boat Neck is HUGE! Basically 1" from Nut To Butt, this neck is a Hoss Boss. Made from quartersawn maple, this neck will be very stable no matter what you throw at it. The fingerboard features a 9.5" radius and 6105 frets. Classic 1.650" Nut Width, 25.5" scale, and a Bone Nut give this guitar a familiar feel and great tone.
A Fender Custom Shop Broadcaster Bridge Pickup and a Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker tied to a Master Volume, Master Tone and 3 way switch complete the electronics package. The twang of the bridge pickup combined with the beef of the humbucker is a thing of beauty as is the special pot int his guitar that can function in 500k or 250k depending on the switch position. Genius!
