With a classic design and special features that give it exceptional tonal versatility and effortless feel worthy of one of the world’s greatest names in rock and blues, it puts pure Clapton Stratocaster tone and feel, straight into your hands.
The neck is made from 1 piece of maple and it is carved to Eric Clapton Soft V Neck Profile. The neck features a separate maple fingerboard which allows the truss rod to be adjusted behind the nut. The fingerboard radius is 9.5" and we have 22 Vintage Sized Frets installed. The neck is finished with a Satin Urethane for a smooth and never sticky feel. 25.5" Scale Length and 1.650" Nut Width combine for a classic feeling Fender!
The body is made from Alder and it is finished in Olympic White. This Olympic White Clapton looks stellar with the Maple Neck! This Strat can run the gamut from clean and quacky to searing, and ripping leads! This guitar weighs in at 8 lbs 3 oz
The pickups are a set of Vintage Noiseless Stratocaster Single Coils. These pickups produce no 60 cycle hum no matter how much gain you are running. This comes in very handy while in the studio or at noise venues. These pickups are pushed to their limit by adding the Active Mid Boost Circuit. With the twist of a knob, your Clapton Strat goes from Lay Down Sally to his Soldano-Era tones... Pretty Cool! The TBX tone circuit offers boost and cut which takes a minute to get used to but it's actually quite cool. A 5-way switch and a master volume round out the controls.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
