The Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Thinline Telecaster Crimson Red Transparent is a very cool instrument with tons of interesting features. Like, literally everything is interesting, you are looking at a set neck Fender with P-90's, people! Built for Jim Adkins of Jimmy Eat World this is a massive sounding Tele Thinline thanks to a pair of Seymour Duncan SP-90 pickups and a 2 piece bridge.
The body is Tele Shaped and hollowed out with a single f-hole on the bass-side. Known as a Thinline, this gives the guitar a larger low-end presence and reduces weight. The neck is made from Maple and topped with a Laurel fingerboard, a very suitable replacement for Rosewood. The neck carries a C shape, 9.5" fingerboard radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. 24.75" scale Length gives this guitar a very Gibson-esque feel. Slinkier than a Tele, this one is easy on the fingers!
Pretty much a Gibson in terms of electronics, this guitar features 2 Seymour Duncan SP-90 Pickups, a volume and tone control for each pickup, and a three-way toggle.
