Name a living legend guitarist. Name 2 more.... If you didn't say Jimmy Page you are WRONG! What young player hasn't learned some early Zep riffs and what experienced player hasn't revisited them over the years to try and recapture some of that passion they fueled? Look, Led Zeppelin's music is literally heard around the clock, even some 50 plus years later. That's proof that they are still inspiring kids to pick up the guitar and many of us to keep picking it up so it's cool that Fender (FINALLY) is putting this guitar together!

There aren't too many guitars that, just by looking at them, one knows exactly how it should sound and what riffs should be played on it. EVH's Frankencaster, SRV's Strat come to mind, but very few specific instruments become truly iconic. This is one of them. In fact, it's been a conversation here at the shop over the years as to when this exact guitar was going to be remade. Well, here we are!

This one is made in Mexico so it's more affordable than it would be had it been made in the Corona California Factory. The attention to details is great, the playability is fantastic and it feels like a quality instrument across all categories. The Custom Oval Neck Profile has a 7.25" fingerboard radius and is loaded with Vintage Frets for an authentic old school playing experience. A pair of Specially Wound Jimmy Page Single Coil Pickups nail the the tones on the early LZ records. Classic Tele Controls are easy to navigate and get you the sounds you need fast.

When the opening riff of “Good Times Bad Times” came through the radio in 1969, everything changed. In that moment Jimmy Page cemented his legacy and altered the course of popular music with a single guitar: his Fender Telecaster. The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster is an homage to that guitar, which began life in its factory White Blonde lacquer finish, then became the “mirror guitar” before taking on its final form – a magical one-of-a-kind instrument, hand-painted by Page himself, that would go on to produce some of the most iconic riffs of the 20th Century.
