The Fender Roasted Maple Stratocaster Replacement Neck, 21 Narrow Tall Frets, 9.5", Maple, C Shape is a great choice to replace your warped, twisted or unusable Strat Neck!
Lot's of things can happen over the life of a guitar. Years in improper storage, heavy usage, and no maintenance are all things that can lead to a series of expensive repairs. We live in an interesting time in which manufacturing has become so much faster, easier, and cheaper that in some cases, we just recommend getting a new neck rather than putting work into one that would cost more to get to it's potential. We've hit a tipping point.
There’s no denying the allure of a roasted maple neck. Resistant to humidity shifts and featuring a gorgeous, dark look, they are alleged to have more sustain and add a unique note to the instrument’s voice.
This genuine Fender Stratocaster neck is crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico manufacturing facility. Featuring a comfortable "Modern C"-shaped profile and 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall frets, this neck was designed for pure playability. The synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" grooves for accurate spacing when filing the final string slots. The perfect way to give your Strat® authentic Fender feel, this replacement neck even sports our famous “spaghetti” logo on the headstock.
This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier® by Fender guitar.
Because Fender genuine replacement necks have not been mounted to guitar bodies, nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel. Other installation processes may be required, such as fretwork, fitting the neck to the neck pocket, and other instrument setup procedures.
