The Gibson 490T in the bridge provides articulate note quality that doesn't bite too hard on the treble side, making for a nice honed humbucking quality that will cut through a bands mix effectively. The Gibson 490R neck pickup provides a warm, soft-edged tone that doesn't muddy up your voicing or clarity. The set of these two humbuckers gives your guitar an even, balanced output that will satisfy the desires of any player.
The Vintage Cherry Satin finish has become synonymous with Gibson's legendary product aesthetic that makes for a comfortable guitar to play that doesn't need to be polished or protected from much. This model is loaded with a 5-ply full face Black Pickguard for the true vintage SG design. The Tribute also comes loaded with Gibson Nickel Plated Vintage Deluxe Tuners with Keystone Buttons that has been a Gibson staple since their creation. The Nickel Plated Nashville Aluminum "Tune-O-Matic" bridge and Aluminum Stop Bar Tailpiece give this guitar as much sustain as possible.
