Heritage Standard H-535 Semi-Hollow in Original Sunburst AL01203

Regular price $2,799.00 Sale

This Heritage H-535 Semi-Hollow in Original Sunburst weighs 7 lbs 11 oz. It includes its original hardshell case and manufacturer's warranty. Just like the venerable Gibson ES-335, this versatile workhorse features a solid center block and laminated figured maple construction to help control the unwanted feedback issues that plague hollow guitars. Double F-Holes add elegance to the look as if the gorgeous Figured Maple outer-ply needed any help!

The Original Sunburst Finish makes the figured maple shine, literally! A Full-Gloss Nitrocellulose finish looks fantastic and will age along with the guitar, developing a patina over the years. This timeless look is gussied up thanks to being double-bound, top and back. The body is made from Maple/Poplar/Maple laminate, has double f-holes, and has a solid center block.

The neck is made from Genuine Mahogany and is topped with a Rosewood Fingerboard. The fingerboard is bound and has a 12" radius. The neck is carved to Heritage's Standard Profile. Existing somewhere between a 50s and 60s neck, this neck feels just right. A Scale length of 24.75" keeps the strings feeling slinky and Nut Width of 1.6875" puts the strings right under your fingers.

Two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover Humbuckers provide authentic tones which harken back to the late 1950s and make this timeless guitar the perfect companion for everything from rock to jazz and beyond. Standard 2 x Volume and 2 x Tone Controls, tied to a 3-way toggle grant access to the sounds you are looking for.

The H-535 is made to perform well in any setting, and musicians will find it to be a guitar that suits their playing style. The Gibson ES-335 has been a staple of the guitar world for decades and this Heritage H-535 is built in the original Gibson Kalamazoo Factory! In other words, if you dig 60's era Gibson's, you absolutely NEED to play a Heritage!

Heritage Guitars are made in the old Gibson factory based in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When Gibson headed South, a fair amount of the employees at Kalamazoo stuck around and carried on the legacy of that factory, imploring the building techniques they learned at Gibson. Heritage continues to make incredible set neck instruments, solid bodies, semi-hollow bodies, and hollow bodies based on many of the classic designs we have all grown to love over the decades.
