Break out the suntan lotion because this Fender® Custom Shop 1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic in 3 Tone Sunburst really burns with Texas heat!
Alder body, quartersawn maple neck, AAA rosewood fingerboard, 60's Oval C neck shape, and hand wound 60's pickups, this guitar has everything you need to tear it up onstage at your next gig.
The hand wound 60's pickups are big and bold with an excellent mid-range punch and grit. The bridge pickup is gritty without being muddy. The neck pickup has a smooth, rich tone with excellent clarity in the low end. The 2 and 4 positions have that perfect quack for rock and blues soloing.
The 60's Oval C neck shape is one of our favorites! Very easy to play. It has just the right amount of thickness with a slightly thinner feel at the first couple of frets. Top it off with a 9.5" and 6105 frets and you have a real thoroughbred of a guitar!
