This guitar is in on trade and it is in nice shape. The neck is straight, the truss rod is functioning properly, and the frets still have plenty of life in them. The tortoise binding on the body appears to have shrunk a little so there is some slight finish separation that you can see and feel where the top and the binding meet. There is no gap or actual separation occurring at this point. The neck heel plate has also shrunk a little causing the same thing with the finish.
These guitars were made by Guild at the Tacoma Guitar Factory in the early/mid 200’s. They weren’t made for long and offered ridiculous bang for the buck. Adirondack Spruce Top, Scalloped braces, Genuine Mahogany, and Rosewood come together in a classic sounding and feeling Guild Acoustic.
