This Used 2004 Fender CIJ 62 Jazz Bass in Fiesta Red electric bass is in on trade and it is in nice shape. It shows signs of playwear and a little rashing on the back, though none of it is terribly serious. It is fully functioning and plays great. The neck is straight, the frets are still good, and the truss rod is functioning. Included with the bass is the hardshell case pictured below.
These CIJ reissues are often regarded as being more detail-oriented than many of the early Custom Shop models. They are pretty cool, indeed! This one is finished in Fiesta Red which is quite rare from what I can tell through Google Image search. A funky serial number, unique 62 headstock script and text arrangement, and factory strap button on the back of the headstock!
An Alder body is finished in Fiesta Red, a classic from Fender. The Ash Tray Bridge cover and middle pickup cover make this beauty look like a vintage automobile from the same era!
The nut width is 1.5" with full 34" scale and a slab rosewood fretboard on a 1 piece maple neck. On the headstock, the tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch well. The headstock has the correct '62 decal, chrome tuning machines with clover buttons.
