In on consignment and in great shape, this Modern Eagle from Paul Reed Smith is an amazing guitar. It is perfectly clean, cosmetically and it is fully functioning. The neck is straight, the original frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original suede hardshell case.
I remember when this guitar was introduced in 2005 and it is still as cool and as striking as it was then! The 1st run of Modern Eagle's came with Brazilian Rosewood Necks. Something not offered by a stock PRS in years! The neck features the perfectly plump Wide-Fat Neck Profile. If you love a 58 or 59 Les Paul, this neck is hard to argue with.
A Satinized Finish adorns the body. Not glossy or shiny, this guitar's satin finish really allows the wood to breathe. The figured Maple top is highly figured, every inch covered in flame. The mahogany used for the back looks great as well.
The RP Pickups used in the Modern Eagle 1 provide a lower output humbucker. Sort of a precursor to the 57/08. A Master Volume, Master Tone and three way toggle provide access to the classic humbucker pickup configuration.
Nobody treats used guitars like we do at The Music Gallery! All trade in's go through an inspection, cleaning, restring and setup before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service peaks your interest learn more here or give us a call!
