This 2006 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar in Cherry is in on trade and it is in nice shape. It shows cosmetic signs of being played that include some dings, light impressions, and a decent amount of buckle rash on the back. None of it makes it through the finish but it is fairly obvious in person. The guitar plays fine but it certainly on it's way to sporting a "relic" finish. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case
The Gibson SG has been a staple of the guitar world since 1961. It's a nice lightweight alternative to many of the other heavier guitars in GIbson's line up. It's also a much longer feeling guitar, well suited for players that are tall or long limbed.
A much loved set of 490 and 498 Humbuckers are installed in this guitar and they sound phenomenal, especially with gain. Combined with classic Gibson controls and you have easy access to all the sounds you'll need.
A Slim Taper Neck Profile plays exceptionally fast and easy with no limited access to high frets like a Les Paul offers. The neck is made from Mahogany and then topped with a Bound, Rosewood Fingerboard.
