This Used 2011 Fender Custom Shop Thinline Telecaster Relic Lefty Strung Righty is in on trade and it's another cool odd-bird! Technically a left-handed nut and a full set up is all this would need to be a full-on lefty but as it is, it's set up for right-handed strumming. This Unique Guitar is a featherweight at only 5 lbs 12 oz so long nights with it on a strap are a breeze. Let's not forget that a lefty nut and a setup would and could make this a perfect left-handed guitar!
The Thinline body is hollowed out which not only reduced weight but adds a stringer acoustic quality to the instrument unplugged and plugged in. The bass is more present, dare I say dominant, compared to a solid body Tele. While solid bodies do that fast, snappy, poppy Tele thang perfectly, the Thinline concept changes things. Chords bloom and ring with density and complexity, making this a phenomenal rhythm guitar.
This Thinline Tele Relic features a massive Quarter Sawn Maple Neck with the Nocaster Profile. It is a very full feeling neck and helps this guitar ring like a tuning fork! Depth measures in at .950" at the 1st fret and at a full inch at the 12th fret. The fretboard radius is 9.5" and the frets are 6105. The nut width is 1.650" and the scale is 25.5".
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! All trade in's go through an inspection, cleaning, resting, and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
