This Used 2022 Fender Custom Shop 1972 Telecaster Deluxe Journeyman Relic in Candy Apple Red is here on trade. It was made in 2022 so it remains in great condition. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar are the certificate of authenticity and the original hardshell case.
The body is made from Alder which helps the guitar weigh 7 lbs 12 oz. It is finished in Aged Candy Apple Red, an absolute classic color that looks good no matter the guitar! It is a Journeyman Relic so the finish is lightly distressed with some dings, dents, and weather checking. None of it is over the top, though, and it looks great!
The neck is made from 5/4 thick, quartesawn piece of maple and carved to Fender's delightful, 1969 U profile. This is a fuller-feeling neck with some shoulders though it doesn't feel bloated. It measures .850" deep at the 1st fret and 910" deep at the 12th fret. The fingerboard is made from Plain Maple and carries a 9.5" radius and 6150 frets. The nut width is 1.65, the nut is made from bone, and like most Fenders, this one has 25.5" scale length.
If the typical twang of the Tele is too much for you, the Deluxe comes equipped with a pair of Wide Range Humbuckers that have all the beef you'll need! Each pickup has its own volume and tone controls, just like you'd find on a Les Paul Standard or hordes of other Gibson models.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, gets cleaned, then some fresh strings, and a full set-up before being put up for sale. We often even put guitars with worn frets through our Plek machine if need be! Rest assured, any Used Guitar from The Music Gallery has certainly passed its physical!
