The Telecaster Custom is a thing of beauty. The bound body on both the top and back of the guitar adds defining lines to the body, elegantly outlining the Tele shape. Finished in a large metallic flake Red Sparkle, this guitar could not be more striking! The body is made from Alder which helps the guitar weigh 7 lbs 11 oz.
The neck is made from Quarter-Sawn Maple and is carved to the 60s Oval C profile. Basically, this is a 60s Strat neck as it measures in at .790" in depth at the 1st fret and .930" at the 12th. The fingerboard is made from AAA-Rated Rosewood and has a 9.5" fingerboard radius. 1.65" Nut Width, a Bone Nut, and 25.5" Scale Length round of the important numericals.
The pickups are a set of hand-wound 63 Telecaster single-coils. Bright and biting in the bridge, sweet, warm, rich, and dark in the neck, and the best of both worlds in the middle position. A master volume, master tone, and three-way pickup selector cover the electronics.
