In on trade and in great condition, this Fender Custom Shop Custom Deluxe Stratocaster Masterbuilt by Yuri Shishkov is finished in Three Tone Sunburst. If this beauty doesn't ooze the SRV Vibe, then I don't know what does! Granted, the body is Ash, the hardware isn't gold and the trem is right handed but that Black Pickguard with the 3 Tone is unmistakable! The neck on this guitar is straight, the original frets are still crowned and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
Yuriy Shishkov is know for building some of the most ornate guitars to come from the Custom Shop. With this guitar, he kept things on the tame side, making a classic playing and sounding Strat.
The neck is made from Lightly Flame Maple and is carved to a 10/56 Profile. Usually this neck profile is found on all Maple Necks however this one was custom ordered with a beautiful Rosewood Board. It has a 9.5" Fingerboard Radius and 6105 frets.
The Pickup set is interesting. We have a Texas Special in the bridge position along with a 69 in the neck and middle. The combo of a screaming bridge pickup with the sweetness of the 69's is quite amazing and surprisingly useful! Classic Strat controls help you find your sound, easy-peasy.
