This Used 2023 Fender Custom Shop Dick Dale Stratocaster in Chartreuse Sparkle is here on trade. The certificate for the guitar has a date of 11/07/23 so the guitar isn't very old. We have some customers who use a guitar for a show or two and then trade them for the next one. So this is a low-mileage beauty that remains in great shape! This electric guitar weighs 8 lbs 3 oz.
The Dick Dale Strat is a unique piece, indeed! Its large flake metallic sparkle finish sets the tone from a mile away. Its reversed headstock is another immediate indicator that this is not your standard Strat. The fingerboard edges are heavily rolled for a very smooth feel. The guitar has no tone controls, though the holes in the pickguard are capped off with metal plugs, along with a 3rd plugged hole from a previous placement of the extra switch. Speaking of the extra switch, the guitar has a traditional 3-way pickup switch but an extra metal toggle switch that bypasses the 3-way switch and puts the middle and neck pickups on. Phew! That's a lot of special stuff on one guitar!
