This Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Mike Landau Stratocaster HH by Jason Smith is in on trade and it is in great shape. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
The Fender Custom Shop and Masterbuilder Jason Smith built only 16 of these guitars and we had 25% of them! That’s right, 4 of these babies came our way and went out FAST! So this is our 2nd time around with this specific guitar! A few noteworthy specs include Lollar Imperial Humbuckers, a Rift Sawn Maple Neck with a Custom Landau Profile.
A pair of Lollar Imperial Humbuckers with Pearl Tops come factory installed on this Masterbuilt Beast. More output, compression, and quicker overdrive are all immediately noticeable. But these humbuckers have a more open, airy, and bright-sounding top end that isn’t searing or nasally. A master volume, tone control for each pickup, and a 3-way blade switch round out the electronics.
The Landau Neck Profile is based on a 68 C that has a 7.25” radius and 6105 frets. 25.5” Scale Length, 1.685” Nut Width, Black Side Dots, and Fingerboard Inlays round out the specs on the neck.
