This guitar is in on trade and it is in nice shape. It has been played over the last couple years so we cleaned up the frets, gave it some fresh strings, set it up and BAM! Ready to rip! There is a small chip of lacquer missing from the fingerboard which is visible in the pics. My hands didn't manage to feel it while playing. The Post Modern Tele is supremely cool thanks to it's (go figure!) modern specs and player friendly hardware.
The 2015 Spec Postmodern Telecaster may look like your basic Telecaster however it is anything but! This Tele features one heckuva playable neck. Carved from quartersawn maple to a 60's c shaped profile, this neck is nice and stable. A compound radius of 9.5" to 12" makes this play perfectly in the Rhythm Zone while the 12" radius up high lends itself to big bends, smooth vibrato and notes that sustain without choking out. 6105 Frets give you a nice, tall feel again perfect for modern players.
The Twisted Tele Pickups are some of our favorites. The neck pickup has a clearer more open sound thanks being wound more like a Strat pickup. The bridge pickup is like a classic 50's tele pickup but on steroids, you know, the good kind. A little extra beef, a little overdrive a little earlier... things that many Tele players have wanted out of their electronics for years. A Master Volume, Master Tone, and 3 way toggle round out all the electronics.
The Custom Shop RSD Telecaster Bridge is a thing of beauty. Based on the original design but better on every level. A slight contouring of the bridge gives it a sleeker look. Lowered Edges grant easy string access, unlike traditional Ashtray Bridges. Perfectly compensated brass saddles intonate better than any other 3 saddle Fender bridge.
Nobody treats used guitars like we do at The Music Gallery! All trade in's go through an inspection, cleaning, restring and setup before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service peaks your interest learn more here or give us a call!
