The combo of Spruce and Maple gives this guitar a big tone, but with 4.75\" depth, we get pretty close to the bass response one would expect from a 000\/OM. Great for strumming or fingerpicking, this is a phenomenal couch guitar that would also do quite well in the studio thanks to its balanced tone. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe back and sides are made from some very nicely figured Maple. The figuring is a little on the wild side, which gives it a unique look. The figuring is accentuated perfectly by the incredible nitrocellulose Vintage Sunburst finish that has patina'd nicely over the last 27 years. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe neck is made from mahogany, and it is topped with a gorgeous Rosewood fingerboard. The neck is on the chunky side, which works wonders for the chordal player. It has 14 frets clear of the body, so it has a longer feel than Parlors with only 12 frets clear.
