This Used 2019 Gibson SJ-200 Ebony Double-Pickguards Acoustic-Electric is here on consignment. This is a Made to Measure series guitar originally ordered by The Music Zoo. The neck is straight, the original frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. The guitar is in great cosmetic shape though it is black so it will show off every swirl mark or fingerprint. Included with the guitar are the original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
Certainly inspired by the Everly Brothers with the double pickguards, this beautiful Super Jumbo would also serve any Johnny Cash fanatics quite well with its ultra-black dress. Big, bold, beautiful. The top is made from Sika spruce. The most often. used wood when it comes to the top of stringed and or fretted instruments. This is easily one of the most toneful timbres on the planet, hence its usage in both orchestral and roots-based instruments.
The neck is made from Maple and shaped to Gibson's Round Profile. This neck measures .850" in depth at the 1st fret and .950" at the 12th fret. This is a nice comfortable-sized neck that is not too thick and not too thin. A perfectly medium-sized neck that certainly aids in the guitar's overall tonefulness. A rosewood fingerboard carries a 12" radius along with 20 frets. The fingerboard is bound and when paired with Gibson's Crown fingerboard inlays made from Mother of Pearl, we have a timeless and classic look.
