This 2016 Gretsch G6139-T CBDC SL Falcon Center-Block Cutaway in Black is here on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the semi-hollow electric guitar is its original hardshell case. The guitar is free from any wear and tear and remains in clean cosmetic shape.
The body of the G6139T is made from laminated maple and then finished in Black. Silver Sparkle Binding sets off its look perfectly! The binding continues on the fingerboard and headstock for the ultimate look. Double F-Hole body design with a Spruce center block lands this guitar in Semi-Hollow territory. Grestchh calls them "Center-Block". Potato, tomato, that sort of thing!
The neck is made from 3 pieces of Maple and it is topped with an Ebony Fingerboard that has a 12" radius and medium-jumbo frets installed. It's got a very playable neck that is not too thick and not too thin. Pearl Neo-Classical Inlays add a classic Gretsch Design-Touch.
