This Used Guild X-170 Manhattan in Vintage Sunburst is here on consignment and it is in fantastic shape. It has been part of a large collection for almost 2 decades now but it has seen very little play at all. It still looks new and is free from any wear and tear. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
Dating Guild guitars from the early 2000s are a little dicey so we have this one estimated at 2001-02, which were the last 2 years of production for the model. Either way, it is nice, clean, and a super fine representation of this Archtop Model!
The body is made from laminated maple and comes in at 16 5/8" wide by 2 1/2" deep. It is not as thick as some other hollow bodies making it far more comfortable than say an ES-175 (not to discount how cool those guitars are).
The neck is made from Highly Figured Maple which is taken up to the next level by having a matching sunburst. It is topped with a Bound Rosewood fingerboard and features 24.75" scale length, and Pearl Block Fingerboard inlays.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
