This 2002 Hamer Monaco Elite Electric Guitar is here on consignment and it is in great shape. It is clean, cosmetically with nothing negative to report. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
This is a beautiful guitar that has been well treated over its life. It is finished in a gorgeous Vintage Sunburst. A highly figured maple top sits atop a mahogany Body. The neck is made from mahogany and is topped with a bound rosewood fingerboard. Hamer's Victory Mother-of-Pearl Fingerboard Inlays class things up a notch.
This is a very good playing guitar, and it sounds absolutely fantastic thanks to the Seymour Duncan Custom in the neck and Custom Custom in the bridge. Each pickup has its own volume control and there is a master tone control as well. A 3-way pickup selector toggle grants access to each pickup or both at the same time. This guitar weighs in at 8 lbs 8 oz, and is very loud, and resonant as a result.
The neck measures in at .885" at the 1st fret and .947" at the 12th fret. It's got a nice full feeling to it, not a slim neck in any position but by no means a baseball bat either. If you dig a slim 59 Les Paul, you'll probably find this neck comfortable. This one measure in at 24.75" Scale Length for a Gibson Feel.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
