This guitar is in on trade and it is in very nice shape. It is clean, cosmetically without anything serious worth mentioning aside from the typical swirl marks you'll see on a nitro finish, The neck is straight, the frets are just starting to show some flat spots under the b string on the 1st few frets, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
Martin based this model on Eric Clapton’s guitar of choice for his iconic MTV Unplugged performance. Constructed from East Indian rosewood, the visually stunning 000-28EC produces a well-balance tone. Never boomy, the bass produced from this instrument is less prominent than in a Dreadnaught, allowing this slim beauty to sit perfectly in the mix with out having to run a low cut/hi pass.
If you love the 000 size and the Modified V Martin neck profile, this is the 000 for you! 1 and 3/4" nut width with this profile is a great combo especially for the fingerpicker. A genuine Mahogany Neck is topped with an Ebony Fingerboard. An Ebony bridge helps add uniformity to the look.
The Sitka Spruce Top is paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides giving this guitar a rich, warm, and familiar tone. Scalloped Sitka Spruce braces are arranged in an X under the top to give the guitar that classic Martin sound.
