This used 2018 Martin HD-28V Vintage Series Acoustic Guitar is in on trade and it is in great shape. It is clean, cosmetically, and it is fully functioning. The neck is straight, the original frets are free from flat spots and divots, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case from Martin.
The Martin HD-28V, built with a classic tonewood combo of Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood, give it an unmissable tone. If a D-28 is loud, then the HD-28V is LOUDER. It's like a hi-fi version of the D-28 and was easily one of the most consistent selling Martin Models we have ever stocked. Why? Read on, fellow Guitar Junky!
The Sitka Spruce Top adds some defining mid-range and some real crispness to the dark, harmonically dense Indian rosewood back and sides. The scalloped braces allow for such sweet uniform resonance that the guitar seems to throw its voice all over the room.
The chunky v neck profile is a love or hate thing but the players that love it, LOVE it! There is no other neck for them. The neck is made from Mahogany and topped with a black Ebony Fingerboard. It sports a large feeling V profile with what I would call medium slopes. It doesn't feel like an old Dean Z from 1980 with their steep slopes, or even a Clapton with a Softer V. The Martin version seems to fall somewhere between.
Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, cleaning, restring, and set up before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service piques your interest learn more here or give us a call!
