Used 1963 Martin D-28 Brazilian Rosewood in Natural 195913

Regular price $6,500.00 Sale

This Vintage 1963 Martin D-28 Brazilian Rosewood in Natural is here on consignment and it is in good shape. It has been played throughout its life but it is a fine guitar with incredible tone. The guitar plays very well, sounds great, and comes shipped in its original hardshell case.

This is a very special piece. It is an actual 1963 D-28 with Brazilian Rosewood back and sides! Not a reissue. This is a second owner guitar, that is still 100% original. It has always been lovingly cared for and routinely serviced since It incurred three splits in the Spruce top from many years ago. One is the typical center seam behind the bridge, one is the typical split under the pick guard next to the bridge, and the other is behind the bridge on the bass side of the top. They were professionally repaired and the guitar has remained fine since then.

An incredible, tight, piano-like tone emanates from this Dread. It's rare to come across these let alone to experience the type of tone that this instrument emits. Even the original frets have plenty of life left in them. The soft V back neck is so comfortable to feel and play. We still have a bright spruce colored top with no issues. Included with the guitar is the original hard shell case.

Typical, lacquer checks, dings, and scratches are present and typical on a piece of this age. A fresh set of strings have just been put on it and it's ready to go! These Brazilian's are a great Blue Chip investment. New Martin Brazilian's start at $10k. Don't let this one get away, get it while you can!
