This Used 2019 PRS McCarty 594 Hollowbody in Dark Cherry Sunburst is here on trade. It is fully functioning and playing great but shows some wear. There is a decent-sized ding on the face of the guitar towards the strap peg. There is another ding along the binding on the back of the guitar near the strap peg as well. The finish no longer looks factory fresh but overall is still in nice shape. Make sure to check out the pics to see the details. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
This is a McCarty 594 Hollowbody. Like the Hollowbody II, this guitar features a carved and arched top and back made from highly figured maple, along with Mahogany ribs. However, the 594 version has a 2-piece bridge and 24.594" scale length. Since it's a true hollowbody, it can and will howl at you in really high gain or high volume settings. On the plus side, it weighs 5 lbs 12oz so this baby feels great on a strap!
A pair of 58/15 LT pickups sound fantastic in humbucking mode with thick low-end, singing with sustain and body. Each pickup can be tapped individually via a push-pull on its corresponding tone control. These pickups sound MARVELOUS tapped! Clean, chimney, bell-like, all the adjectives! Even Tele-style licks sound at home in this mode. The electronic controls and layout are very similar to a Les Paul so navigating them is easy!
