Used 1995 Ehlers Model 16C Brazilian Acoustic Guitar in Natural 314

Regular price $4,800.00 Sale

This Used 1995 Ehlers Model 16C Brazilian Acoustic Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. It is in very nice shape. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. The face of the guitar shows some light pick wear while the back and sides show some finish sinking into the grain. There are some weather checks visible from certain angles as well. None of the wear is serious, especially for a guitar going on 30 years old. Included with the guitar is its original hardshell case.

Rob Ehler passed away in 2011 and he did not make many guitars. This Ehlers Model 16C features a spruce (possibly European) top and Brazilian Rosewood back and sides. It also has curly Koa binding, a mahogany neck, and Ebony bridge and fingerboard. It also has Schaller tuners with Ebony buttons. It is a Mini-Jumbo body style with a 16" lower bout. This is a lovely-sounding guitar with a warm, rich bottom end, subtly scooped mids, and charming top end.

Nobody treats used guitars as we do at The Music Gallery! Every trade-in goes through an inspection, gets cleaned, then some fresh strings, and a full set-up before being put up for sale. We often even put guitars with worn frets through our Plek machine if need be! Rest assured, any Used Guitar from The Music Gallery has certainly passed its physical!
