This Used 2006 Bourgeois JOM Vintage Acoustic-Electric Guitar is on consignment. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. The guitar is in clean cosmetic shape with nothing negative worth mentioning. The original hardshell case is included with the guitar.
Constructed with an Adirondack Spruce top and Madagascar Rosewood Back and Sides, this is a phenomenal-sounding instrument, rich and warm with a sweet top end. These top-notch tonewoods are considerable upgrades when compared to Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood. Leave it to Dana Bourgeois to take things to the next level!
This guitar has an interesting body size - sort of like a small jumbo or a large OM. However you frame it, it's not a traditional-sized guitar but has a similar internal square footage to that of a dreadnaught. Marry a slightly larger than Grand Auditorium sized top/back with a deeper body, and you've got the JOM (aka the Jumbo OM).
We installed an LR Baggs Anthem System in it sometime over the last few years. The guitar sounds great acoustic and through an amp. It's ready for any situation you may find yourself in.
