This Used 2006 Martin D-41 Acoustic Guitar in Natural is here on consignment. The guitar is in very nice cosmetic shape. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod functions properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case. This guitar was part of a large collection and it did not see much playing time over the last almost 20 years. This guitar is in far better shape than its age would indicate!
The Martin D-41 offers just the right amount of forward-facing bling! Its top is outlined with a gorgeous inlay of Abalone that seems to make the guitar glow. While other 40 Series guitars have Abalone adorning practically every 90-degree angle, the 41 puts it where it matters most, facing forward! Martin also uses exceptional quality Spruce and Indian Rosewood on the 41 to all but guarantee you've got the finest tone available.
Despite not having been played much, this guitar sounds fantastic. The tone is rich and warm with a sweet top-end. The neck is the Modified Low Oval, so it's got a nice feeling C profile that is never too thick or thin. The guitar plays very well with a nice low action. Depite being made a couple of years before Martin introduced the Plek Machine to their manufacturing process, this one is about as buzz-free as one could expect! It was meticulously humidified and kept in phenomenal shape, so it will certainly provide its next owner with years of enjoyment.
