A very cool, lightweight instrument that will have any set neck, mahogany/maple fan in awe. It reminds me of the classic Robben Ford signature from Fender in the 1990’s. This beauty plays with ease. It has a chunky neck on it, like a late 50’s Gibson style with a fair amount of shoulder. The instrument is lively and resonant which makes it a blast to play, even acoustically. Plugged in, the Curtis Novak Classic Humbuckers have a familiar tone. Much like the most sought after humbuckers ever made, these pickups sing with warmth and sustain but with a more open than nasally top end. A Coil Tap and unique tonal shift tied to the push/pull pot on the tone control, offer up a wealth of stunning tones.
