The new Fender H.E.R. Stratocaster in Chrome Glow has landed and it is about as cool as it gets! I had to ask who H.E.R. was too and once I ended up on some of her youtube videos I was genuinely impressed! Hopefully, this great new artist will inspire many more players to pick up the guitar, especially girls!
The color is this guitar is quite striking. It's called Chrome Glow and it most definitely both those things. The Chrome finish looks super cool as-is but somehow Fender made it have an actual aura. A complete rainbow presents itself on the edges and contours of the guitar. It's insanely cool and something I would expect to see on a Custom Shop model, not a made in Mexico Signature! Just goes to show you that Fender means business these days, no matter the price-point!
An ultra-comfortable Mid 60's C Shaped Neck is made from Maple and is tinted for a slightly aged look. The fingerboard has a 9.5" radius and twenty 6105 Frets installed in it. The neck feels great on the back, never tacky or sticky, thanks to a Satin Urethane finish. 1.650" Nut width and 25.5" scale length provide the classic Fender feel we all know and love.
