The Fender Player Lead II in Neon Green has finally arrived! Originally introduced in 1979, The Lead II references a guitar made with a pair of Single Coil Strat-style Pickups. Finished in a bevy of cool colors this time around, we are blown away by how cool this Neon Green Finish is!
A pair of Alnico 5 Magnet loaded single-coil pickups come installed in the Player Lead II. These sweethearts are made more versatile with phase switch and a pickup selector switch. This is a cool Strat meets Tele-sounding guitar that is addictively unique.
It's a very comfortable-sized guitar with exceptional high fret access. The body size is smaller than a Strat or Telemaking it the perfect guitar for long hours on the couch. Also perfect for kids or smaller players who would be better served with a slim-waisted guitar.
The neck is made from maple and is carved into a Modern C Profile. The Purple Metallic version comes with a Pau Ferro fingerboard that carries a 9.5" fretboard radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. 1.650" nut width and 25.5" scale length keeps all the feels as Fendery as can be.
